Tungsten Carbide

Tungsten carbide (WC) is an inorganic chemical compound containing equal parts of tungsten and carbon atoms. Colloquially, tungsten carbide is often simply called carbide. In its most basic form, it is a fine gray powder, but it can be pressed and formed into shapes for use in industrial machinery, tools, abrasives, as well as jewelry.

Tungsten carbide rings are created from a technologically advanced process which blends Tungsten and Carbide powders together at very high temperatures (up to 1350 degrees Celsius). The outcome is impressive jewelry that is virtually scratch-proof and last for life time. Diamonds, the hardest material on earth, are 10 on the Mohs hardness scale while tungsten is measured between 8.5 and 9. The finishing on the tungsten carbide rings involves a very special and difficult procedure, and is being obtained by using diamond compounds. The end result is a perfect polish, high shine mirror finish that will last forever. The weight of the rings is comparable to that of a platinum ring. There is no Cobalt in our products and it will not cause any allergy to the user. Your tungsten carbide ring jewelry will retain its striking luster for always and forever!
